Welcome! I have spent many hours learning and establishing my views, ideas, and theories about teaching English in Secondary schools. I have found that the more I grow and gain experience from teaching my views, ideas, and theories change. Teaching was something that was always a passion for me. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. Teaching to me requires my full attention, and commitment to my students and school. I want to be able to give students the ability and chance to become a student that is successful, achieved, and aware of the challenges, surprises, and positives in life.
English is a subject that I stongly believe is one of the most important subjects that students will encounter through out their educational career. My greatest passion is teaching books to students that have or eventually will become movies. I find it to be very entertaining as well as educational to read a book and then watch the film interpretation of that book. By doing this my studens as readers will be able to critique the authores of the book and the screen writers of the movies. They will be able to see the differences of the story through interuptation, ideas, visions of how the story is told or viewed.

About Me!
Hello, my name is Shannon Krasnicki and I am a Secondary Education English teacher. I recieved my bachelors from Western Michigan University with a major in Secondary Education English and a minor in Communications. As a teacher I find that the importance of student success is key and as a teacher I want to teach students how to be successful and fulfill goals that they may have. As an English major I have a strong passion for English and would be very willing to share my passion of literature and writing with my students. I find that English is a very important subject in school and it determines the accomplishments students make in other area subjects (I.e. math, science, social studies).
I want a classroom where I learn as much as I possibly can. It would be in my best interests to really be involved and take in everything I can. I believe in an organized and creative learning environment. I want to engage every student and reach them on an individual level. Learning, understanding and demonstrating knowledge is very important and is the reason for my enthusiasm in teaching.
